WE BELIEVE
…in the INERRANCY OF SCRIPTURE, which is God-breathed, without error, and written by men under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe that the Scriptures were formed long before there were denominations, movements or networks and that they are the complete revelation of God’s self-disclosure and redemptive plan.

WE BELIEVE
…in one GOD, revealed as three persons—Father, Son and Holy Spirit, coexistent, coequal and coeternal. He is holy, infinitely perfect, having limitless knowledge and sovereign power. God has purposed from eternity to redeem a people for Himself and to make all things new for His own glory.

WE BELIEVE
……in the deity of JESUS CHRIST, the only Son of God. We believe in his virgin birth, sinless life and his miraculous ministry. He walked on earth as fully God and fully man. By his death in our place, He redeemed us from sin and, on the third day, He rose bodily from the grave, victorious over death and the powers of darkness. We believe in His ascension to the right hand of the Father and in his personal return in power and glory. He is the Head of His body—the Church, our High Priest and Advocate.

WE BELIEVE
…the HOLY SPIRIT regenerates, sanctifies and empowers all who believe in Jesus Christ. He convicts the world of sin, of righteousness and of judgment. He indwells every believer and is an abiding Helper, Teacher and Guide. Given at Pentecost, it is the promise of the Father, sent by Jesus after His Ascension, to empower the Church to preach the Gospel throughout the whole earth.

WE BELIEVE
…the WORK AND GIFTS OF THE HOLY SPIRIT are essential for the edification of the body of Christ, the sanctification of the believer and the mission of the Church. The baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs at conversion and is the placing of the believer into the body of Christ. All the gifts of the Holy Spirit at work in the
church of the first century are available today and are to be practiced in an orderly fashion under the guidance of local church leadership. No particular gift is essential nor necessarily an indication of deep spiritual experience.

WE BELIEVE
…God created HUMANKIND in His own image, but Adam was tempted by Satan and sinned, creating separation from God. As a result of Adam’s sin, humanity is totally depraved and only through the grace of God can its lost condition be remedied.
WE BELIEVE
…SALVATION comes from justification by grace through faith in Jesus Christ. Through his atoning death and victorious resurrection, Christ rectified humanity’s separation from the Father. God’s free gift of salvation is given for the forgiveness of sins and the promise of eternity with Him.

WE BELIEVE
…BAPTISM AND THE LORD’S SUPPER are two ordinances the Lord Jesus Christ has mandated for the local church. Baptism is the immersion of the believer in water. It is a public declaration of faith in Jesus Christ and an identification with His death and resurrection. As with water baptism, the Lord’s Supper is to be observed only by followers of Christ. It symbolizes the breaking of Christ’s body and the shedding of His blood on our behalf, and is to be observed throughout the Christian life.

WE BELIEVE
…the CHURCH is a living spiritual body of which Christ is the head and all who are justified by grace through faith in Him are members. The Church exists to worship and glorify God and to serve Him by faithfully doing his will on earth.

WE BELIEVE
…that the endeavor of CHRISTIAN LIVING is to love God supremely and others sacrificially. We believe that God’s justifying grace must not be separated from His sanctifying power and purpose. This sanctification is cultivated by spiritual disciplines such as the reading of scripture, prayer, worship and confession. Additionally, every believer should make disciples, always bearing witness to the gospel in word and deed.
WE BELIEVE
…in the CONSUMMATION OF ALL THINGS, including the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth and the establishment of His kingdom. We believe in the
resurrection of the body, the final judgment of the just and unjust and the restoration of His creation.
